Dog Training Events
| Event: Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluation Date: November 20th 2010 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Neuman K-9 Academy Price: $20 for evaluation / $40 private pre-evaluation handler training session(s) The Canine Good Citizen evaluation is a program designed to encourage responsible dog ownership and certify dogs that have the training and behaviors needed to be dependable, good mannered members of their families and communities. Since many of our graduates have different levels of training we are offering private pre-evaluation handler training sessions to help make sure you are prepared for the big day. Please contact Summer Duggan to book your training date and time (unused handler sessions from your previous training programs are not applicable). | Event: Tracking Seminar with Al Govednik Date: March 27th and 28th 2010 Time: 9:00 AM Location: Neuman K-9 Academy Neuman K-9 Academy will be hosting a tracking seminar by Al Govednik. This two day seminar will introduce you to training methods and techniques used for Search & Rescue, and other dog work involving scent tracking (Schutzhund and AKC tracking dog titles.) | Event: Handler Certification Date: June 14th, 2008 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Neuman K-9 Academy Neuman K-9 Academy will be hosting an obedience trial on June 14th, 2008 for graduated dogs and handlers of the Academy.
